Your little one is about to turn one and there is no better way to celebrate them then having them play in a cake all to themselves. This has to be one of my favorite parts of watching your little ones grow up.

During your consultation for booking the Cake Smash, we discuss the theme for the session. Whether it is fairy garden, thing one thing two, pink, blue, green, orange, etc., we work together to create what you are looking for!

Once we know what your desired theme is, we get to work on making it reality. Throughout the creation process, we send over behind the scene images for you to see what is being created.

The night before the session, have your little ones get a good nights rest. We want them to come in the next morning with lots of energy and happy (sometimes plans never go right, and that’s ok). As you head to the studio for the session, relax and know things will go the way they are meant too!

We start the session off with no cake! We want to make sure we get nice images of your littles to celebrate them turning one. Then, we bring in the cake. Sometimes, we get expressions of wide eyes, which makes us all laugh. Other times, we get giggles as we look at the cake. No matter what happens, let the littles explore a little.

We love capturing the moments when the littles dig into the cake and get messy. Moms and dads don’t worry, we are always prepared for clean up following a cake smashing. We never let you leave with your little covered in cake.
